Welcome!  The Washington State Challenge is an Evergreen State Volkssport Association committee set up to provide state-wide award incentive programs for walkers in Washington State.   These programs offer awards for completing a “challenge” — a group of walks that fulfill a certain criteria.  We currently have three different challenge programs:

History Booklet!  The new Town & Trail booklet, History, runs 2007-2009.  It will allow you to collect 7 walks in each of 4 categories:  Monuments, Cemeteries, Museums and Places on the National Historic Register.  To read more about this challenge click here.  NOW AVAILABLE.

Walk all 39 Counties in Washington State.  This program has been very popular and many new walkers have enjoyed the opportunity to get to know their state.  This program will continue indefinitely.  To read more about this challenge, including upcoming walks, click here.
