About the Club |

Who we are: The Four Plus Foolhardy Folks is a band of experienced volkswalkers who love to hike. Some of the things we strive for in our walks are: · Beautiful, new and unusual natural settings. · Utilization of trails & wilderness lands rarely offered by other volkswalk clubs. · A little adventure, whether it’s climbing over fallen trees or traversing a steep hillside. · Friendly greetings, food and warm hospitality.
We have members from all over the state, many of whom cannot attend regular meetings but who enjoy our pre-walks and group events. Many members belong to other volkswalk clubs. WE SANCTION THE WALKS WE WANT TO WALK OURSELVES. We hope you will join us.
Besides walking our unique events, everyone is also welcome to join the Four Plus Club. Here are some reasons to do so: 1. Receive our monthly minutes, newsletters and annual brochure. Read about our upcoming walks first. 2. Suggest a walk. Got a favorite hike? 3. May attend our club pre-walks, walked as a group hike. 4. May attend our yearly trip out of state to sanction other great national park walks. 5. Invitation to our annual Christmas Party and other special events. 6. Support the continuation of these kinds of volks-hikes.
To join, come to a club meeting or a walk or mail your name, address, phone and email address, plus an annual fee of $10 (check made out to Four Plus Foolhardy Folks) to: Four Plus Club — Membership, P.O. Club Meetings: Club meetings are held at the ESVA office in Puyallup on the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm. Anyone is welcome to attend. You do not need to attend club meetings to be a member.
